Milwaukie Lions Club "WE SERVE"
About the Milwaukie Lions Club

The Milwaukie Lions Club has been active in supporting citizens of Milwaukie and North Clackamas County since 1948. We pride ourselves on being a small but mighty organization. While Lions as an international organization primarily focuses on sight and hearing programs, our club does far more than provide exams, eyeglasses, and hearing aids to those less fortunate in our community.

The Milwaukie Lions Club supports our local schools by providing needed supplies to classrooms and coordinates a Backpack Buddy program at a local elementary school. The club also undertakes a Holiday Food Drive that provides food boxes to more than 500 local families, as well as many other activities and service projects throughout the year. The club is always looking for potential new members who want to give back to their community.

Our Meetings

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at Elmer’s Restaurant – 16087 SE 82nd Dr, Clackamas at 6:30 pm. We normally do not hold regular meetings during the summer months, but you can always reach someone through our Contact page.

Lions Clubs International

The Milwaukie Lions Club is part of Lions Clubs International, which with 1.3 million volunteer members is the largest service organization in the world, having served people since it was founded in 1917.

Milwaukie Lions Charitable Foundation

Like Lions Clubs International, the Milwaukie Lions Club has a non-profit Foundation to support our charitable work. The Milwaukie Lions Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, chartered to raise funds to support our service within the local community. The Foundation has been instrumental in allowing us to apply for grants and to register with community fundraising efforts for nonprofits through organizations such as Amazon Smile, Kroger Community Rewards, the Oregon Beverage Recycling Collective Blue Bag program, and Safeway Community Giving.
