Community & Environment

Lions Clubs care deeply about the environment, and the Milwaukie Lions Club has been taking on more environmental and community improvement projects in recent years. We believe that a healthy community depends on a healthy environment.

Recent Projects

In partnership with the Johnson Creek Watershed Council, we helped plant trees and shrubs in an effort to restore Tideman Johnson Park, improving habitat and water quality along Johnson Creek.

We also partnered with Growing Gardens to install raised garden beds, helping low-income families grow their own food and build greater food security in our community.
