Lions original service mission is eyesight. To that end we collect used eyeglasses and sunglasses (as well as hearing aids and cellular phones) in our drop-boxes at convenient locations. We take these to the Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center in NW Portland where they are cleaned, sorted and reused for impoverished people who need glasses.
